Lobbying

The term lobbying refers to the influence exerted by various interest groups on representatives in politics and society. A specific form of this is environmental lobbying, which advocates environmental and nature conservation issues.

High-ranking politicians often depend on well-researched information and compelling arguments from various interest groups to make informed decisions that serve the public good. In this context, lobbying offers representatives a platform to engage in dialogue with decision-makers and shape political discourse.

Participation is a crucial tool for fostering collaboration in this context. It aims to involve societal actors while promoting information exchange and conflict avoidance. The methods of participation are diverse, ranging from World Cafés and future workshops to open-space conferences.
