Evaluation

The test run and the official course were accompanied by a questionnaire-based evaluation. Participants filled out an online questionnaire at both the beginning and the end of the course. The questionnaires were developed and analyzed by js_studien+analysen.

Course Rating

Participants rated the 2023-2024 course with an average score of 1.5. The test run received an average rating of 1.9. Thus, the overall average rating across both sessions was 1.7.

 

Sociodemographic of Participants

In both sessions (the test run and the official course, n=84 participants), women made up 70% of the participants, outnumbering men. The largest age group, accounting for 44% of participants, was aged 30 to 39 years. Additionally, 25% of participants were 29 years old or younger, indicating a significant presence of individuals at the beginning of their careers.

Twenty-four percent of participants were from Thuringia, while 76% came from other federal states. Both the test run and the official course included participants from at least 11 federal states. Additionally, two participants from Austria joined the 2023-2024 session. Eighteen percent of participants held supervisory or management positions, while the majority, at 75%, were employees without supervisory responsibilities.

Most participants (67%) worked full-time, defined as 35 hours per week or more. The largest group, making up 39% of participants, came from nature conservation associations and foundations. Thirty percent were from public administration, while 11% each came from educational institutions and the private sector, mostly from planning offices.
